JCW Foundation, Inc. Provides registration fee scholarships to local athletes who, without this financial assistance, would not otherwise be able to participate. The Scholarship Assistance Program focuses on providing opportunities for our area youth to participate in sports for the physical, mental, and life skills benefits that these types of programs can provide. Scholarship assistance is need-based and will be dependent upon JCWF funds available and the actual need shown. Please be aware that our funds are limited, and our primary goal is to help as many youth athletes and families as possible participate in JCWF sports programs. Also, please be aware of the following:
1. Scholarship application should be completed and submitted before program registration is started
2. Scholarships are need based and are first come, first serve as funds are available. Please submit proof of need separately via the document upload button on the homepage of the website (www.thejcwfoundation.org).
3. Proof of need should be submitted on the same day as the application for assistance. Application will not be processed without proof of need (Medicaid, WIC, or snap benefits – a screenshot or picture of child’s current enrollment is acceptable)
4. Scholarships assist with registration fees of up to 50% but do not cover the full amount
5. If approved for scholarship assistance, a coupon will be issued and will expire 5 days after being issued. Coupons will only be issued one time and will not be reissued if they expire.
6. JCW Foundation, Inc. will not discriminate based on gender, race, class, economic status, ethnic background, sexual orientation, physical ability, or cultural and religious backgrounds.
7. Applications for scholarships do not guarantee help
8. The last day to apply for scholarship assistance is January 31, 2024, unless funds are no longer available prior to that date.
