2026 Spring NFL FLAG Football – Alexandria

We’re excited to welcome players and families to the 2026 Spring NFL FLAG Football Season! Whether your child is learning the game, building skills, or simply enjoying the experience, our program is designed to be safe, competitive, fun, and memorable.

Important Season Dates:

Practice Schedule:  Tuesdays & Thursdays - 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM

• Players must attend at least one practice per week to participate in games
• Players are not required to stay the full practice
• Practice adjustments may occur due to weather

Practice Location:  O’Hearn Matthews Sports Complex, 6107 Bayou Rapides Road, Alexandria, LA

Game Schedule

• 6 regular season games
• The Flag Bowl
• Bye Week April 4, 2026
• Games played on Saturdays starting at 0930 AM
• If Saturday games are cancelled due to weather, they may be rescheduled to Sunday at 3:00 PM
• All regular season games are at O’Hearn Matthews Sports Complex

Game Length

• 5U Division: ~30 minutes
•  All Other Divisions: Up to 1 hour

Team Size

• Ideal roster size: 8–10 players
• Maximum team size: 10 players
• This ensures development, playing time, and a quality experience.

Season Cost - Registration Fee: $160 per player (all divisions)
Includes:

• Team placement
• Official reversible NFL FLAG jersey
• Flag belt and flags (yours to keep)
  

Players will also need:

• Shorts without pockets
• Mouthpiece
• Football or soccer cleats

• $20.00 Early Registration Discount through February 28, 2026 (automatically applied)
• Family discounts available

Awards - Individual awards will range from certificates to medals to trophies, depending on division and recognition. Every player will be acknowledged for effort, participation, and contribution.

Volunteering -Our league thrives with the support of families. Volunteers help with:

• Coaching
• Player check-in
• Concessions
• Families can indicate interest during registration.
